Default New Money Pit?

Yes, I have been lurking a while.

Figured I would introduce myself since I was finally forced to register.

I will be starting, or buying, a project after the holiday season. I have been gathering information from all around.

I have the garage space and clearance from the accountant.

You should be seeing more of me soon.

Welcome. I assume from the screen name it'll be Ford powered? What are you plans or vision for your build?

Not necessarily. The handle is an old left over from my first car... a 1973 Mach One. I've since owned another 73, a pair of FC RX-7s, an 03 Cobra, and now a very mundane daily driver.

I've looked at Monster Miatas with fantasy for more than a decade. It dawned on me that it can easily be a reality.

Initially, I was thinking 302 all the way. But seeing what I have seen in the past few months... My eyes are open.

Mach, welcome aboard! Good to hear you're open minded, that said I love my little 302 car, it does exactly what I'd hoped and more. However I do find myself lusting for a well prepped ls car. 27 mpg at 80 and 400 hp (easy) if needed sure sounds tempting. But then I think about how I love my lit'l old style car and it sounds just right at any rpm and speed.

Good Luck
RR

Any updates? Is Santa bringing something shinny and fast for you?
