Hi- saw your post. I have a fully sorted Ls1 miata with a T56, 8.8 rear, 355 gears, and a whole host of other upgrades. Has zero issues and has won multiple trophies at shows. Guaranteed you won't find another one as nice unless you spend $40k plus.
